I'm now at Denver Airport (free wifi, yeah!) and are just to board my flight over to Geneva for the Frostgun Invitational.  My Ipad is full charged and some new movies are on!  Looking good!

I'm now sitting at the breakfast table i breck after a long yesterday in aspen and the driving back to breck. The Aspen Open this year didn't go as expected. The course was epic and it was sunny all day but things didn't really wane go my way yesterday. Did the same, but a better run than in practice and got 4-5 points lower score. But was nice to hang out in aspen for a few days and congrats to Ole who claimed 3.rd place.

Aspen Highlands

We had our slopestyle qual today. Got 2 runs in the course during the morning hours while trying to wake up before the qualifying heat's started and then we sat down outside the hotel, worked our tan and checked out what went down in the course while we waited for heat 4 to start, the light to go away and get our 2 runs before dinner time.

Lasse, Ole, Lars, Halvard and me all go through the qualification and are ready to give'r!

Gone be stepping up my run for tomorrow so hoping I'll get a few laps before it all starts to test out some new shit.

Had our first day of practice in the Aspen Slopestyle course today. The course is almost like it was on X, they just removed the first rail section and made a small touch on the Joystick feature and the rainbow rail. I shattered my thumb during practice hitting the Joystick jib on the top, but hopefully it will be ok for tomorrow. Just got an email that I'm in Heat 4 together with Lasse, Ole and Halvard for tomorrows qualifications. Heat 4 starts at 1.30pm - 2.30pm and then the landings are in the shadow so I't had been better to get an earlier heat but it's just to get comfortable with the light and charge it!

Had an early morning drive in to downtown Aspen to get my skis pimped up by Ajax Mountain Sports.  If you are in aspen and need to rent, get gear or fix things stop by their new shop at North of Nell building at the bottom of Aspen Mountain

Just got to our hotel in Aspen, 10m from the Buttermilk lift we are chill'in out in the outdoor hot-tub. Gone be skiing the Aspen Open the next days so looking forward to have some practice in the course tomorrow.

I have been in aspen almost every year skiing the X-games and Aspen Open so it feels nice to be back!  More updates tomorrow and my edit from Keystone just got finished. Will be up tomorrow morning.

Me and HJ headed over to Keystone yesterday for the first time since december. Have just been skiing Breck since the jump line is a lot better and it's just 1min walk. But when the weather is bad and it have snowed enough to keep the jumps closed, Keystone offers a massive rail garden and fast laps with no queue.

Thursday was my first day back after getting my knee all checked out. It's still a bit sore but nice to know that it's just pain and nothing "wrong" with my knee. Felt good to be out skiing since I have been walking up and down to the rec-center for the last week.  Just had a calm first day to make sure that it didn't got any worse, so no I'm stooked to be on point and charge some new tricks.

Went to the physio yesterday with several thoughts. Have been talking to people back home about my knee, (now it's hard to explain the feeling over skype) but got feedbacks that it could be my ACL so I should just take it very easy.  When I walked down to rec-center yesterday I didn't feel pain or anything so thought it was just a bit overkill heading to physio/doctor but it's better to check it then rip it!

It's always a lot of papirwork to get this all started.  But pregnant, not that I know about!

We started of with a knee test, since I have heard It could be my ACL so I just wanted to be sure. Kim (the physio/doctor) grabed, tweaked, pulled and twisted my knee and it was tight as a .....  YEAH!  , just super relieved to get that out and it was like my aunt said, my thigh muscle was to stiff and it irritating on the point where the thigh muscles are combining below my knee. It could be a bit of a overload since I'm bad at taking days of If I don't need to, so will be taking at least 1-2 days of now to get it heal and then I'm back!

After skiing I should be icing it and just keep it relaxed when I can. Kim started to put up some electronic chips, syringe and a battery pack to "push" the fluid down in my knee and help the irritation....

.... and just like that, I'm pretty close to being a transformer!

Felt good that my knee just is a bit overloaded so heading down there today to get my kinesio tape instructions. That helps taking the pressure of the point where it hurts so will be using that in coming days just to get it all healed up 100%.
