Got home from Svalbard, got some hours of sleep and headed straight up to Hemsedal where the resort had built up some jibs ready for shred! The weather was epic and funny just to get laps with the sled and jib and get shots on the different features. Thanks to Hemsedal Skiresort, Kalle and Johan for making this possible!

Just got back home from Svalbard and our trip with Field Productions doing some serious urban skiing in Barentsburg. The feelings you get when I sledded in for the first time was unique! Just driving in on a snowy road with the sled and watching all the dark and destroyed buildings, feels like you are back in the 1940´s and just a few days after the war ended.  Hard to explain how sick Barentsburg really is, but check out the shots and look forward to an epic segment in Supervention from Field Productions dropping this fall!

I'm at Barentsburg at Svalbard, an island northwest of Norway shooting with Field Productions. The internet connection are way below slow up her, so you guys just have to make your way into my Facebook page or Instagram account (@andersbacke) and I'll try to power out some shots from the epic scenery and mind-blowing town up her!

Just got back home from Hemsedal after a few days of park shred. The plan was to head back home on sunday and just re-pack the bags and head on to a new trip with Field, one for the memory books! But because of bad weather it was set on hold so I'm getting two more days back home and that's not to bad with some epic spring weather coming in this days!

Met some stoked kids up in the valley. Cool to see the new youngsters killed it in the park at the age of 11!

 

Just wrapped up a little different shoot with photographer Vegard Breie back home in Vikersund. I came up with this "new" idea on shooting the picture from new angles to make a new perspective in the shots. So I built a gap in the resort back home, not long but still narrow and with a nice clean cut to make the arena look good.

Headed back home from the Burn Team Week yesterday and thanks to BURN for an epic week! Pretty damn easy to work around Trysil and find and shot spots when the resort are so easy to work with!  On thursday evening we had our last shot before leaving friday morning and the cat-driver Jimmy pushed up snow and Øyvind was rock'in the sled like every other day this week and made tow-in's for hours! Thanks!

The construction companies are trying to get into extremesports

Wednesday was set to be a long one. Planed a morning shoot on the big kicker and headed out after shooting the road gap yesterday to shape and get the kicker ready for some early tweaks. Now sitting at the Radissons hotel after 14 hours at the mountain and a session on the Flowrider surfwave they got her. The weather are gone turn bad tomorrow but 2 more jibs are going down.  It's been a super productive week so far with me and kalle hammering shoots and shooting with Kasper for the edit in the meantime. Stoked to see the result!
